Seattle Rum Fest

The Seattle Rum Fest arrives in Washington making its 1st official debut. Seattle is an exciting world class city surrounded by many attractions. Over one hundred distilleries are located in Washington crafting a variety of brands. Seattle is known to be a top destination for creative cocktails. Locals love to talk about booze as much as they love to drink, so the Rum Fest has found a perfect home.

The Seattle Rum Fest will be celebrated on September 15th at Washington Hall. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend training seminars, mingle with fellow rum lovers, network with brands and taste a variety of rums. Event panelist will be Bailey Pryor and Karen Hoskin. More speakers are yet to be announced.

This specific event will support a special cause in benefit of PRAWS (Puerto Rico Association Washington State).PRAWS is dedicated to promote and educate the public on the role of the social, cultural and educational involvement of the Puerto Rican community to its maintain heritage. The main goal of PRAWS is to raise funds and award financial scholarships for minority students at the local state colleges. Part of Puerto Rico’s heritage comes from the exceptional rums originally created and distilled in the island like Don Q Rum. Fun fact, Don Q will be a sponsoring rum of the event. So, attendees will have the chance to experience Don Q’s delicious taste and variety in flavors while supporting a good cause. Don Q will without a doubt leave its mark as a top quality rum.
